RFID Gantry System

Overview

Long-range RFID intelligence for gates, tolling, and moving assets

Skanixa™ BX-GT is a Gate Max RFID system for high-movement environments where vehicles, carriers, containers, assets or tagged objects need identification at gates, lanes, yards, tolling zones, access points and infrastructure checkpoints. In transport-heavy operations, the gate is more than an entry or exit point. It is where identity, authorisation, movement, timing, compliance and flow come together. A missed read or delayed verification can create congestion, manual checks, revenue leakage or process gaps.
BX-GT enables long-range RFID identification at defined gate and movement points. As part of the Skanixa™ BX Series, it supports high-power RFID operations where reliable identification and system integration are essential. Garuda Vigil™ turns gate-level RFID events into structured intelligence for validation, access control, movement logs, traffic monitoring, dashboards, ERP integration and security workflows.

Overview

How it works

Step 1
Tag the vehicle, carrier, or asset

A vehicle, windshield, carrier, container, equipment, or asset is tagged based on the environment and identification need.

Step 2
Approach the gate or lane

The tagged vehicle or object moves toward a gate, tolling lane, parking entry, checkpoint, or access point.

Step 3
Capture RFID identity

BX-GT identifies the tag as it enters the configured long-range read zone.

Step 4
Validate through GarudaVigil™

The captured identity is validated against permissions, tolling records, gate rules, vehicle master data, workflows, or enterprise data.

Step 5
Trigger the action

The system can support gate opening, movement logging, toll event creation, exception flags, dashboard updates, or alerts.

Step 6
Create the movement record

The gate event becomes a digital record for vehicle flow, gate performance, traffic patterns, turnaround time, and exceptions.

Step 7
Enable enterprise visibility

Data can connect with ERP, transport management, yard management, tolling systems, security platforms, ITMS dashboards, or enterprise applications.

Business Benefits

Business Benefits

Faster gate throughput

RFID-based identification helps reduce manual verification at gates, lanes, and movement checkpoints.

Reduced congestion and waiting time

Faster identification can help improve flow across tolling, logistics, parking, yard, and industrial gate environments.

Improved movement control

Teams can digitally monitor which vehicle, carrier, asset, or object entered or exited a location.

Stronger revenue and access assurance

RFID-based identification can support automated validation, event creation, and transaction reliability.

ITMS-ready operational visibility

Supports traffic and gate monitoring for turnaround time, checkpoint movement, congestion, compliance, and process bypasses.

Digital twin-ready infrastructure operations

Captured movement can contribute to a live digital view of physical traffic and gate activity.

Lower manual dependency

RFID-enabled gate automation reduces repetitive checks, paper logs, visual inspections, and manual entry errors.

Scalable across infrastructure environments

Adaptable for tolling corridors, facilities, logistics yards, hubs, ports, parking systems, campuses, mining sites, and secured infrastructure.

Backed by RFID mobility experience

i-TEK’s FASTag-scale tolling, vehicle identification, and ITMS-style deployment experience strengthens BX-GT’s credibility.
