A technocrat, entrepreneur and social innovator, Ashim Ashok Patil has spent over 25 years working at the intersection of RFID, IoT and enterprise technology. At i-TEK, he has been the architect behind some of India’s most significant RFID deployments to date.
Among them, the FASTag infrastructure now running across more than 3,000 toll lanes. The RFID E-Seal system that operates across 100+ ports and ICDs. And the item-level RFID transformation of some of the country’s largest retail supply chains. The work he has led has built i-TEK into a partner that industries turn to when they need real-time visibility, traceability and operational intelligence.
His leadership is grounded in a quiet conviction. That technology, when used well, can serve national progress, transform how businesses operate and leave a real mark on society. PanchaJanya, the RFID Experience Centre he founded, is one expression of that conviction, built as a meeting place for industry, academia and government to experience and co-create the future of connected physical operations.
